TouchDesigner: Heartbeat FBX
I've been dreading importing a rigged 3D object or character into TouchDesigner. Every time I've done this with other programs there are always a whole bunch of problems. Either it doesn't reference animations correctly, it breaks the skeleton, or all the textures and materials have suddenly vanished into the ether. I was super happy to see that Touch does a great job bringing in Rigged 3D FBX files. I was even able to replace the animations by linking joints up to the Kinect CHOP data and did some heartbeat motion capture. Fun fun fun.
I received a request for this project. It involves a 3D model so I zipped it all up and you can download it below. You might need to re-link the moveFileIn TOP images that are the heart textures. They are in the folder though.
