TouchDesigner: Water Mirror

I know, I know, I know. Another dern interactive mirror. The obsession continues.

 

This project involved working with assets created by the amazing Kurt Kaminski. He created some pretty amazing fluid networks as part of his thesis project not long ago and has shared his work free of charge (something I'm a big fan of).

 

Using the leap motion to recognize hand gestures I created a mirror using these fluid effects with the Displace TOP in ordger to give it a water look. It's about halfway there in my opinion. I plan to keep working on it and create a version that doesn't use the Leap Motion, just an average webcam utalizing motion detection with the cache method.
