TouchDesigner: Graffiti Mirror

While I was sick and traveling, I found myself playing with the TouchDesigner tools in the palette. It allowed me to try new things and learn from networks without having to use the creative brain power that was severely lacking from within the dehydrated depths of sniffleville that I found myself residing.  I came out of that sickness with a new appreciation for the palette as a way to prototype ideas quickly and get things started that I could then pull apart and reorganize to create something new. That's the process that led to creating the two Graffiti Mirror projects.

 

These use the Leap Motion combined with a customized approach to the Gesture Capture Technique from the palette to do the trick. Now, I know there is a Leap Paint tool in there too, but honestly, it looked like crap (sorry derivative). The gesture capture is just a better tool for drawing in my opinion.
