TouchDesigner: Midi Visuals
The time had come to see what I could do with my AKAI MPKmini Midi Keyboard when hooking it up to TouchDesigner. I actually didn't even start messing with the actual keys, just the dials, pads, and pitch-shifter. I must say, it's pretty fun.
That being said, I want to do more with sound in TouchDesigner. I like that I can generate sound with the Oscillator CHOP, but that's a little limited. It might be time for me to play with creating some audio libraries for use exclusively inside TouchDesigner. I know there are built in operators to link it up with Ableton and other audio programs, but I'd like to see what I can do running within a single program. Perhaps I can create some nice sounding, low data sized samples that might work well... but that's for a later 100interactive.
