An Alternative to Slitting Your Wrist is Owen Lowery’s first feature length documentary. It premiered at the True/False Film Festival in 2008 and has gone on to be played to international audiences throughout the United States and Europe. It has been awarded the Documentary Prize at the VisionFest Film Festival in New York, NY and Owen Lowery recieved the Consumer Involvement Award from the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board for issues dealt with in the film.
